Evaluation

Each patients is evaluated in a private room by a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). The PT will ask questions regarding your condition and discuss any goals or objectives that you would like to meet. The questions usually relate to the onset of your injury or condition and the signs and symptoms of your condition.

The PT will outline a treatment program designed specifically to meet your needs and will explain any aspect of your condition or treatment program as well as the rationale for the treatment.

Treatment

Following your evaluation, the physical therapists at Corso Physical Therapy deliver treatment in a clean, open area with the assistance of a well-trained and knowledgeable staff. You are treated utilizing extra wide, cushioned tables for comfort in a warm and friendly environment.

Throughout your treatment the PT and staff are available for any questions or concerns you might have, including any change in your signs and symptoms during the course of treatment.

Each patient will receive a home exercise and treatment program. The program is designed to be simple, but adequate for you to perform initially. As your program gradually progresses or is changed, you will be instructed in more advanced exercises in an effort to return you to optimal functional recovery. The PT will also elaborate on many aspects of your daily tasks such as proper sitting technique, proper bending and lifting and appropriate care for any and all your concerns.
