Leonard Framson

 

 

 

Leonard M. Framson, PT, MFS, CSCI, YFT is an orthopedic and sports physical therapist with a Master of Fitness Science, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Instructor, and a Certified Youth Fitness Trainer.  Lenny graduated from Boston University Sargent College of Allied Health Professions in 1983. In addition, he is a registered physical therapist with a certification as a Master of Fitness Science and holds Healthcare Provider Certification through the American Heart Association.

Lenny provides personal training, health fitness assessments and performance enhancement training for youth athletes, professional athletes, and Olympic athletes. He has a strong background in athletic and sports rehabilitation training, strength and conditioning, personal training, and sports nutrition.

In 1984, he was a physical therapist at the Los Angeles Summer Olympic Games and is a member of the Olympic Alumni Association. For the 1993 World Maccabiah Games in Israel, he was selected as the physical therapist/sports trainer for the United States Track and Field Team. He participated again in1997 with additional responsibilities. His extensive experience treating athletes, from weekend warriors, to Olympians and professionals, includes a large variety of sports. He has been the therapist providing rehabilitation for master level swimmers and athletes for many years.

In March 2004, he was spotlighted as the ISSA (International Sports Science Association) Pro-trainer of The Month. He has published articles regarding proper hydration to prevent heat-related problems and proper procedures to follow. He has published articles on proper running mechanics.

Lenny is a very conscientious and caring individual. He will be a tremendous asset to the two already successful practices of Corso (Hauppauge and Huntington) and the newly opened Corso Sports and Rehabilitation of Northport.
